NC Real Estate Attorney

north carolina lemon law attorney Jane Soboleski, formerly Jane Dearwester, began her legal career in Wilmington, North Carolina in 2001 as a criminal defense attorney. It was a great training ground to gain practical trial experience and to work with the public. In 2003, Jane and her (now) husband Sean, relocated to Asheville to experience all that Western North Carolina has to offer. She joined a state-wide real estate law firm and became the Managing Attorney, covering 19 counties in Western NC. After a few years, Jane decided to go back to solo practice, and opened her own law office – Dearwester Law, PC – in September 2005. She enjoyed a successful residential real estate practice, and in late 2007, she decided to join forces with Attorney Mary Hart to form The Hart Law Group, PC in January 2008. There she managed the real estate section of the firm and also gained experience in business law and civil litigation – particularly real property disputes.

In May 2009, Ms. Soboleski gave birth to her son, River James, and decided to go back to work with her husband at Soboleski Law, PC so that she could maintain a more flexible work schedule while caring for her new baby. After all of the changes, in names, law firms, and office locations, Jane has comfortably landed back in South Asheville. Her practice now consists of residential real estate closings, loan modification negotiations and foreclosure avoidance, contract drafting, and real property dispute work.

Ms. Soboleski was born and raised in Ohio and attended The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH obtaining a B.A. in Political Science in 1997. She graduated from Duquesne University Law School in Pittsburgh, PA in 2000. Jane is an avid traveler and loves hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Her dog, Sierra, is the designated greeter at the office and has been an “office dog” for most of her life.

Throughout her career, Jane has focused on connecting with her clients on a personal level and taking the anxiety out of the attorney-client relationship.
